Dear PCS Families,

Typically, PCS begins preparing for its annual food drive and food pantry at this time of year. However, we believe we need to help those affected by Hurricane Ian in south Florida. Instead of our annual food drive this year, we will participate in the Hurricane Ian Relief Project instead of our annual food drive.

We know several churches and ministries that have been extensively damaged and pastors whose homes have been completely lost.

So, we ask that you help us be a blessing to those in need. If you would like to give to this cause, our ministry will begin gathering essential items that we will transport to several churches that have been directly affected by the storm. We also are setting up a link on our webpage for monetary donations.

God is good! He is not good because the impact of the storm has spared us. He is good regardless of whether or not the storm has impacted us. Events do not define his goodness, but it is part of His character. It is constant irrespective of the circumstances we face.

We are providing a list of supplies given to us by local pastors. You can purchase these supplies and bring them to the school. We will be storing these items in the gym. Once a week for the next several weeks, we will transport these items to churches in south Florida.

If you want to donate, please go to www.pcsknights.org, click on the “more” link, and then click on Hurricane Ian Relief.
